Primary Hepatic Hydatid Cysts: Case Reports

Abstract
Particularly common in countries with extensive agriculture and livestock, hydatid cyst is a parasitic disease caused by the cestode Echinococcus granulosus, which infects humanmostly through dog faeces. Among the genus Echinococcus, Echinococcus granulosus is the most commonly isolated species from human infections. Hydatid cysts are mostly observed in lungs and livers.
