Abstract
The article is devoted to research of principles and directions of the state policy of Ukraine in the field of household waste management in Ukraine. With reference to domestic and foreign experience, the system of principles of household waste management in Ukraine is being developed and on the basis of them the directions of improvement of the state policy in this sphere are formulated.
