ПРОБЛЕМА ДИАГНОСТИКИ УРОВНЯ РАЗВИТИЯ КРИТИЧЕСКОГО МЫШЛЕНИЯ СТУДЕНТОВ

Abstract
This research project explores the development of critical thinking in students in the higher education system (undergraduate level). In particular the research focuses on some basic competencies in critical thinking. Secondly this project seeks effective ways to elevate skills which underlie critical thinking of students, to improve the quality of teaching and learning. According to experts the quality of teaching and learning is determined by high level thinking skills. To study conditions of conscious learning of students and to create the conditions for the developing students' positive motivations for such teaching and learning. Thirdly this project searches for techniques to measure and assess skills in the critical thinking. Assessments of basic competencies in critical thinking are one stage of scientific work to identify the best teaching technology. Lastly this project examines the factors which impact on problem-solving and decision-making.
