Abstract
The article presents information on the International scientific-production and educational conference «Problems of evolution, domestics, genetics, selection and biotechnology in animals», devoted to the 130th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding geneticist and breeder, academician M. I. Vavilov The event took place in Kharkiv State Veterinary Academy on November 22–23, 2017, in which 87 scientists, teachers, post-graduate students and students took part. The article deals with the scientific reports that were presented at the conference and briefly presents their content, reports of scientists and post-graduate students, the decisions of the inter-university scientific organizational committee of the conference were recognized as the best.Keywords: evolution, domestics, selection, genetics, biotechnology.
