Abstract

The purpose of the article is to determine theoretical and practical principles and problematic aspects of the implementation of strategic management of the development of agrarian enterprises in the Khmelnitskyi region. In accordance with the purpose, the following tasks have been solved: the concept and generalized theoretical approaches to the definition of strategic management, general and specific problems of the implementation of strategic management of the development of agrarian enterprises have been investigated; the main reasons for ineffective implementation of development strategies to agricultural enterprises of the Khmelnitsky region have been identified. Research methodology. In the process of research, the following methods have been used: dialectic, analysis, synthesis, scientific abstraction (for a refinement of the categorical-conceptual apparatus of the study); system analysis (for theoretical and methodological generalizations, determination of general and specific problems of the implementation of strategic management of agrarian enterprises development). Research results. According to the results of the study, has been made the conclusion that in Khmelnitsky region, application of development strategies, such as strategies for further development (expansion of market boundaries, improvement of product quality, introduction of new technologies), is very important for more efficient operation of agricultural enterprises; support strategies (increased profitability, support for existing areas, product modification). Elements of scientific novelty. As elements of novelty, general and specific problems of the implementation of strategic management of agrarian enterprises development, as well as the main reasons for ineffective implementation of development strategies at agrarian enterprises of the Khmelnitskyi region have been revealed. Practical significance. The problems of introducing into business practice and increasing the effectiveness of strategic management should be considered as those caused by the consequences of a systemic crisis that coincided in time with the period of reforming the agrarian sector of the economy under market conditions. Therefore, the development of the theory and practice of strategic management requires a scientifically grounded approach to its realization based on economically justified advantages reflecting the prospects of economic, technological and social development of agrarian enterprises.
