Problems of motivation of judicial verdicts in the light of the requirements of European case-law

Abstract
In the article the question of motivation of judicial decisions as a precondition of their legality is investigated. The content of the principle of reasonableness and motivation of decisions is clarified in accordance with the rules for applying the requirements of the Convention to the European Court of Human Rights. Examples of contradictory approaches to the production of motivated solutions by national legal proceedings are given. Specific proposals have been worked out to adjust law enforcement in this area.
