PROBLEMS OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURAL MARKET DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article uses the author’s concept of the market for organic agricultural commodities for analyzing the conditions of production and circulation of organic agricultural commodities and identifying factors that reduce the volume of realized value of organic agricultural commodities, thus hindering the development of the market. In the course of the analysis, it was revealed that the conditions of organic production determine the features of the circulation of organic agricultural commodities, orienting the realization of the majority of them on foreign markets at premium prices. Particular attention is paid to the handling of organic agricultural commodities in the domestic market, where the dominant position of traditional agricultural commodities in terms of price, volume and assortment, and lack of awareness of consumers, increases the time and costs of the realization of organic agricultural commodities. These features are inherent in the development of the market for organic agricultural products in those countries where, as in Ukraine, organic agriculture was established and maintained with the help of foreign capital. It is concluded that only through the coordination and active actions of organic farmers, as well as all interested market participants, the representation of the national organic sector in the domestic market, carry out a large-scale advertising campaign, solve the production problems, and also lobby interests in the sphere of politics, contributing to the development of the market for organic agricultural products can be achieved.
