Abstract
The article presents subject areas of social competence demonstrated by pupils of educational care facilities. The author presents the data analysis from the doctoral dissertation devoted to satisfying the needs of the pupils of the educational care facilities and programme assumptions of the facility relating to the level of social competence of the respondent pupils. The respondents were the pupils in normal intellectual capacity as well as the individuals with mild mental retardation<br/><br/>
