PROGRAMS OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE AREA OF ACTION

Abstract
The article examines legal regulation of state regional policy, socio-economic development through the implementation of special-purpose integrated social development programs of various sectors of public life area. State regional policy on the example of Kharkov region is considered as a system of goals, measures, means and coordination of central and local executive authorities, local governments and officials to ensure the quality of life of people in different regions of Ukraine on the basis of natural, historical, economic, environmental, geographic, demographic and other characteristics of the regions, their ethnic and cultural identity. The author briefly describes separate programs of socio-economic development of the region, shows the results of their implementation and certain directions of their functioning for the subsequent period.
