Prosodic features of English interjection use by different age groups in quasi-spontaneous speech

Abstract
In the article the interjections’ usage by various age groups, their influence on prosody of the speakers in the semispontaneous speech is considered. The special attention is paid to average maximum and minimum values of intensity and range of fundamental frequency. The age feature of using interjections and their prosodic characteristics are found out in the article.
