PROSPECTS OF USING LIQUID CRYSTALS IN MEDICINE

Abstract
In review article considered the structure of liquid crystals, analyzed similarities with biological structures made connection between the emergence of diseases and liquid crystals condition. Presented literary data acquainted with practical application in medicine: thermography, ultrasound "X-ray", in the design of electronic glasses with liquid crystals lenses to correct presbyopia and in creating antitumor.
