Provider’s liability for violations of copyright and related rights: national and international specifics

Abstract
The national and international legal regulation of provider’s responsibility in cases of infringement of copyright and related rights in the Internet is analyzed. The author carries out research on national and foreign legislative acts not only in the field of copyright and related rights, but also in the telecommunications and e-commerce sectors. The author concluded that there are significant differences in the issue of bringing the providers to national and foreign practices, the urgent need to amend the legislation in the field of copyright and related rights, as well as the modest application of the best foreign experience in this area
