Przestrzeń miejska Zbaraża w świetle akt podatkowych z lat 80. XVIII wieku

Abstract
The article presents a couple of remarks concerning the city space of Zbaraż at the end of the 18th century. Based on the preserved tax files, i.e. the Joseph’s cadastre and urban descrip- tions, the author attempts to determine the spatial arrangement of the city (division into the downtown and suburbs; the existence of dense areas of uniform economic character). Moreover, the article categorizes the types of residential housing, the occurrence of industrial facilities and technological infrastructure. A separate section is dedicated to the description of the socio- political space (centres of power, public utility facilities) and the public space (the structure of the population).
