Przygotowanie oddziału ratunkowego na zagrożenia CBRN
Journal Title: Na Ratunek - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 3
Abstract
Trauma centres and emergency departments ought to be prepared to provide aid to CBRN patients. Therefore disaster plans should include procedures for dealing with such incidents, not only with a single patient, but also in a mass casualty incident. Both personal protective equipment and respiratory protection should be a standard equipment for emergency medical services at the hospital level, so that individual performance of most tasks would be allowed. Psychological support to patients and hospital staff, as well as ICT equipment, allowing for effective information management, are integral parts of the hospital crisis response plan to CBRN threats.
