PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL IDEAS IN THE CONTENTS OF G. SKOVORODA

Abstract
The article analyzes the psychological and pedagogical views of the Ukrainian thinker G.S. Skovoroda. The essence of the expression "Know yourself" is determined. Analyzing the works of the thinker expanded understanding of happiness and the ways of achieving it. Man must understand his actions and actions, thoughts, feelings and desires, to know his abilities and propensities. Examples are given of how to recognize the psychological properties of children and adults based on their behavior and activities.
