Abstract

Some psychological aspects of professional orientation of modern students and factors, the influence on its forming are examined in the article. Orientation (that assumes psychological readiness of a student) as the generalized form of attitude toward a profession consists of separate, local estimations by the subject of personal measure of significance (to the attractiveness and unattractiveness) of different aspects of professional activity, its maintenance and terms of realization. A student, coming forward in the process of studies at the same time as an object and management subject, yields to influence of the most various factors that, accordingly, it is possible to divide into objective (pedagogical) and subjective (psychological) in relation to development for the students of attitude toward educational objects. It is possible to consider the quality of teaching of the objective factors and general organization of educational process, and subjective one is a professional orientation, educational motivation, and also initial levels of cognitive capabilities and readiness, that show the subjective estimation of measure of complication or lightness of mastering of educational disciplines of different profile and maintenance. The different types of educational motivation in their various mutual relations largely determine common and selective formation of students to the separate educational objects and disciplines in that maintenance and methods of future professional activity are presented in different forms and measures. The educational object can be estimated by a student from the point of view of importance of it for professional preparation, from the point of view of the personal cognitive interest in the certain area of knowledge, from the point of view of quality of teaching that causes sense of pleasure or dissatisfaction of an educational object, and, finally, from the point of view of own possibilities and capabilities that determine the measure of difficulties of mastering of educational discipline.
