PUBLIC PREFERENCES OF LVIV PEOPLE (2008-2017) IN THE CONTEXT OF CIVIC SOCIETY FORMATION

Abstract
The article deals with main public preferences of Lviv people, which are forming at the context of contemporary NGOs functioning. It was revealed that Lviv citizens prefer the organizations of cultural, sport, professional and clubs types, not so popular are organizations of social and educational trends. The level of NGO’ affiliation is qualified as low (5%), which is connected with such reasons as absence of free time and desire. According to the results of three waves of research of Lviv people’ public opinion (2008, 2011, 2017), it was demonstrated that for last 10 years public preferences of the citizens preserve such characteristics as contradictory, marginalization and out of structure.The article deals with main public preferences of Lviv people, which are forming at the context of contemporary NGOs functioning.
