QSPR on Estimating of Polychlorinated Biphenyls Relative Response Factor using Molecular Descriptors Family
Journal Title: Leonardo Electronic Journal of Practices and Technologies - Year 2004, Vol 3, Issue 5
Abstract
The molecular descriptors family methodology was applied on relative response factor of polychlorinated biphenyls in order to obtain quantitative structure-property relationships. The use of molecular descriptors family allows making of important remarks about nature of the relative response factor property and its causality. The obtained quantitative structure-property relationships can explain over 62% of polychlorinated biphenyls relative response factors.

Effect of carburizing temperature and time on mechanical properties of AISI/SAE 1020 steel using carbonized palm kernel shell
The effects of varied carburizing temperatures and holding time on the mechanical properties of AISI/SAE1020 steel have been investigated. Standard test samples prepared from the steel sample were subjected to pa...
Conjugate Gradient Method with Ritz Method for the Solution of Boundary Value Problems
In this paper, we wish to determine the optimal control of a one-variable boundary value problem using the Ritz algorithm. The posed optimal control problem was inadequate to achieve our goal using the Conjugate Gradient...
Behavior of Aluminum Alloy Castings under Different Pouring Temperatures and Speeds
The investigation studies the effect of pouring temperatures and rates on the mechanical properties of Aluminum alloy castings. The castings were produced at different pouring temperatures and speeds. The speed range is...
The Impact of Pesticide Application on Heavy Metal (Cd, Pb and Cu) Levels in Spinach
The impact of Pesticides (DELVAP 1000EC) application on the levels of Cd, Pb and Cu in two species of Spinach (maroon and green) was investigated. The results shows highest accumulation in leaves compared to stem and roo...
Corrosion Behaviour of Nickel Plated Low Carbon Steel in Tomato Fluid
This research work investigated the corrosion resistance of nickel plated low carbon steel in tomato fluid. It simulated the effect of continuous use of the material in a tomato environment where corrosion products are l...
