Quadricuspid Aortic Valve: A Rare Congenital Anomaly
Journal Title: Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research - Year 2018, Vol 12, Issue 1
Abstract
Abstract Quadricuspid Aortic Valve (QAV) is a rare, but well-recognised congenital anomaly, which may result in significant aortic regurgitation. We report a case of asymptomatic young male who was inadvertently diagnosed with QAV with moderately severe aortic regurgitation, through Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
