REALIZATION CONNECTIONS OF BETWEEN HEADING AND TEXT IN POSTMODERNISM (ON THE MATERIAL OF NOVELS BY ANDRUKHOVYCH „ RECREATIONS” AND „THE MOSCOVIAD”)

Abstract
The analysis of the titles of two novels by Andrukhovych is presented in the article. The object of the research is the organization of the artistic structure of the novels under analysis. The subject is the realization of connections between a title and a text in a postmodern piece of work. The specificity of such connections in the postmodern discourse hasn’t yet been the subject of a special research. That’s why studying this aspect of the problem in Andrukhovych’s novels is up to date for modern linguistics. The aim of the research is to define how specific features of the postmodern discourse are realized in title constructions and how they influence the selection of the lexical material. Descriptive and stylistic methods are used to meet the objective. Onomastic studies by Yu. Karpenko became the methodological basis of the article. The results of the research have theoretic and practical meaning for future linguistic and literary analysis of the postmodern discourse. Studying the titles of the novels by Andrukhovych lets us come to the conclusion that its specificity is connected with a postmodern method of perceiving the reality when carnivality and the use of language game lead to ironic sounding of the titles of the pieces of work forming the corresponding perception of further text. Adding to the conclusions made by Yu. Karpenko concerning more imaginative potential of the titles constructed on the basis of appellative vocabulary one can give an additional postulate such as: the titles of pieces of work constructed on the basis of abstract vocabulary have more widespread ties with the artistic discourse.
