Realization of ethnocultural world-awareness within phraseological semantics (based on Russian and French)

Abstract
The author of the article researches how the ethnocultural understanding of the world is objectified in the phraseological semantic space. The realization of the ethnocultural understanding of the extralinguoistic reality is connected with the ethnolinguocultural code, on which the formation of the phraseological semantics is based, which has its own role in the modelling of phraseological semantics by means of its original processes. The recent research showed that there is a growing interest of linguists, cognitologists, psycholinguists and ethnolinguists to the problem of language, culture and ethnic consciousness. It is due to intensification of awareness of human existence in the world system of specific ethnic cultural features, such as national mentality, language, ideas, values. As a result it has been found out the chain of components that determine the ethnic and cultural identity, given to the language, such as: (1) the unique set of accumulated knowledge about extra-linguistic reality in the process of cognitive activity of the ethnic group as a whole, (2) a method for projecting features of the worldview of a certain ethnic group, (3) the codec information of the people about different spheres of life – physical, social, spiritual. It has been proved that language phrasebook fund is valuable source of information about the culture and mentality of people. Phraseological units (PU) (idioms phrase comparison, paroimias) are informative symbolic means of ethnocultural interpretation of the known fragment of reality, ethnolinguocultural signs in structural and semantic models which record information obtained in the course of an ethnic group subject-practical comprehension of extralinguistic reality, formed in the national consciousness as a result of development of the world mental structures that contain established linguistic and psychic communication within the linguistic sign, and outside it, reflected in the meaning of a linguistic unit and semantic organization of propositions. The study showed a significant role of ethnolinguocultural code and its constituent namely elements-characters in the objectification of ethnolinguocultural awareness of the world. Ethnolinguocultural code manifests moral, ethical and socio-cultural values. Semantic content of ethnolinguocultural code of symbols is due to the understanding of reality by a certain ethnic group. As a part of the phraseological unit, code elements not only contribute their meanings in phraseological semantics, but also expand their scope of meaning, thereby deepening the understanding of the reality awareness making refinements in the mental range of the world vision by a certain nation.
