RECONSTRUCTIVE - RESTORATIVE SURGERY FOR LOCALLY ADVANCED TUMORS OF THE OROPHARYNGEAL ZONE
Journal Title: European Journal of Pharmaceutical and Medical Research - Year 2019, Vol 6, Issue 6
Abstract
Reconstructive surgeries for locally advanced malignant head and neck tumors are an integral part of rehabilitation activities and are aimed at improving cosmetic and functional results. Skin-muscular flaps on the leg with the inclusion of massive muscles of the neck and chest are more viable than skin-fat, especially if it is necessary to replace the extensive infected defects of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and pharynx.
