Abstract
The article presents a study of individual-typological features and psycho-emotional disorders in servicemen with neurotic and psychosomatic disorders. It reflects the influence of the mentioned factors on reducing the level of social functioning in patients of the selected clinical circle. The study was conducted on the clinical base of 411th Central Military Clinical Hospital, it was attended by 232 patients with psychosomatic and neurotic disorders. The study of features of individual-typological features in servicemen with neurotic and psychosomatic disorders was carried out by using K. Leongard — G. Shmishek methodology. Definition of features of psycho-emotional disorders in servicemen of the selected clinical group was conducted using the technique of self-diagnostic of anxiety by C. D. Spielberger and Y. L. Hanina. A comparative evaluation of reactive anxiety (RA) and personal anxiety (PA) was also carried out. It was discovered that selected clinical groups differed by a number of features. Servicemen with neurotic disorders were distinguished by a tendency to change the emotional background, level of activity, a high level of reactive anxiety, and a moderate level of personal anxiety. Servicemen with psychosomatic disorders differed by emotional and behavioral outbursts, high level of personal anxiety, a tendency for pessimistic assessment of the prospects of their own life, successful course of treatment. Persistence and perseverance characteristic of this type of people make it difficult for them to adapt in situations that require switching to another method of solving the problem, another type of activity, etc. Observed swings in mood, activity, desire for solitude during periods of «recession» contribute to the destruction of the established social contacts, make socialization difficult for the subject in general.
