REGIONAL APPROACH IN CRIMINALITY INVESTIGATION IN UKRAINIAN CRIMINOLOGISTS’ WORKS WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF RESEARCH OF CRIMILALITY IN CROSS-BORDER REGIONS

Abstract
The given article presents the results of review of criminality regional specific features research development in Ukraine. On basis of analysis of key national scientists’ works, the article submits arguments as to fact that the Ukrainian authors have made a huge contribution to development of regional aspect in criminology. The examples of a competent usage of a regional crime benchmarking analysis by the scientists are introduced. There are also indicated the possibilities to improve upon crime prevention in cross-border regions in Ukraine.
