Rеgional Features of Architecture and Urban Planning of Donbass in Scientific Research, Design Practice, Creative Work and in Training of Specialists in the Faculty of Architecture of Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture

Abstract
The article sums up the experience of studying the regional features of architecture and urban planning of Donbass in scientific research, design practice, creative work and in training of specialists in the faculty of architecture of DonNACEA. In different periods of time the following researches have been worked out in the range of fields: the history of architecture and urban planning of the region, taking into account different stages and types of objects; architectural and urban development of disrupted areas and areas having rough mining and geological conditions; energy efficiency, energy saving, green technologies in architecture of the region; renovation of non-operated factories areas; architecture of objects of the miners health care system; humanization of architectural space of the regional industrial cities taking into account the needs of people with limited mobility; reconstruction, improvement of architectural concepts of civil and industrial buildings and structures under conditions of the region; research of the influence of national cultures of major groups of population, historical and cultural features, subcultures of town-forming branches in architecture and urban planning of the region. The results of these researches have been approved in term, graduation and competitive design projects. The examples of regional features understanding have been provided in design practice and creative work of the architectural design department staff members and the graduates of DonNACEA faculty of architecture.
