Regression analysis in predicting the ethical behavior of Iranian male Premier League football players on the basis of the aspects of team cohesion

Abstract
This study, is carried out in line with predicting the ethical behavior of Iranian male Premier League football players on the basis of team cohesion aspects. Regarding the purpose, the research method of this study is applied and it is regression regarding method. The research included all 288 Premier League players in the thirteenth league (92-93) who are playing in 16 teams (18 per team) that 165 member from among 288 were selected using random cluster sampling and Morgan table. To collect data the questionnaire of ethical behavior of players and a group environment questionnaire of Karun, Vydmayr and Bravly were used, the validity of the mentioned questionnaires were proved by the supervisor and the reliability was obtained through Cronbach Alpha, 0.671 and 0.813 respectively. Data analysis results indicate that from among the team cohesion aspects (individual actions to the group on assignment basis, components of individual actions to the group on the social basis, integration of the group on assignment and social basis), only the components of individual actions to the group on the basis of assignment with a significant level of 0.39, has a significant linear relation with the ethical behavior.
