RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE RATE OF WEAR AND DISPERSION OF PARTICLES OF POLLUTION IN THE HYDRAULIC DRIVE WORKING FLUID

Abstract
Equations for the rate of wear have been obtained with allowance for the interaction of charged wear particles with friction surfaces. It is shown that the wear rate iv can be represented as a descending function of the coefficient of antiwear properties Kj of the working fluid, which is the ratio of the number of fine particles to the number of coarsely dispersed particles with the corresponding coefficients. At the same time, with increasing Kj, the wear rate iv increases.
