Religious orientation of social and pedagogical support of childhood and maternity in modern Ukraine

Abstract
The article deals with religious orientation of social and pedagogical support of childhood and maternity in modern Ukraine. It is determined that much attention is paid to the institution of family due to extensive work of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Catechetical schools are opened at churches as well as family centers, catechetical recollections and family forums. The main task of all these organizations is Christian religious education of children and adults as well as parents` pedagogical training for bringing up their own children on the basis of humanity, mercy and charity, as well as getting psychological advice or doctor`s help and so on.
