RENT PAYMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL TAX IN UKRAINE: HISTORICAL ASPECT

Abstract
The article describes the main stages of the development of payment for environmental management in Ukraine. The dynamics of the share of environmental tax and rent payments in the structure of tax revenues of the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine is analyzed. It was found that environmental payments do not fulfill their compensatory role. The redistribution of environmental payments between the State and local budgets of Ukraine was investigated. The necessity of the transformation of environmental policy in the framework of the European integration of Ukraine is noted.
