Research of Belles-Letters in the Ukrainian Studies of the 20–40s of the 19th Century: Historiographical Dimension

Abstract

The article analyzes the historiographical dimension of the study of belles-lettres in Ukrainian studies of the 20–40s of the 19th century. It is emphasized that the specific historical conditions of the first half of the 19th century make the analysis of ideas about the specifics of Ukrainian folklore and literary research development identical to the research of the dominants of the social ideology of Ukrainians.
