Research of rural industrial revitalization and factor flow based on attention economics

Abstract
[Objective] This study was conducted to systematically sort out the relationship between rural industrial revitalization and factor flow, and to reveal the economic theory of rural factor absorption capacity implicit in factor flow. [Method] This study is structured around the guiding queries: “What underpins the tangible foundation of rural industries? What catalyzes the outflow of factors from rural areas? What underlies the inadequate concentration of attention on rural zones? How can the revitalization of rural industries be effectuated?” [Result] The selection of a path towards national prosperity and power is indicative of the nation’s allocation of attention. The entrenchment of the urban-rural dichotomy intensifies the attenuation of attention allocated to rural regions, and the pronounced centralization of potential resources within major urban centers constitutes the crux of the deficient absorptive capacity for factors in rural areas. [Conclusion] Guided by the principles of attention economics, the law of the flow of factor should be followed to contribute to the revitalization of rural industries.
