Research on Degraded Operation Scheme of Train Autonomous Control System Based on Vehicle-to-vehicle Communication
Journal Title: Urban Mass Transit - Year 2024, Vol 27, Issue 9
Abstract
Objective As a new generation of train control system, the TACS (train autonomous control system)based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication is significantly different from CBTC (communication-based train control) in system architecture. It is necessary to conduct a research on the degraded operation scheme of TACS in the event of equipment failure to ensure safe and reliable train operation. Method The characteristics of TACS based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication is elaborated and analyzed, and its architecture is introduced. The degraded operation requirements of TACS are analyzed, and a degraded operation scheme of TACS based on multi-sensor fusion technology of 'radar plus visual method' is proposed. Result & Conclusion The above degraded operation scheme can effectively solve problems such as train speed measuring, positioning, and interval protection, and effectively detect foreign object intrusion in the track area.
