Journal Title: Jaunųjų mokslininkų darbai - Year 2011, Vol 32, Issue 3
Abstract
Make studies dissolution of snow water and rain water from the main city streets and from uncontrolled water feeds. Samples analyzed: pH, suspended solids concentration and volume of oil products. Water pollution in the uncontrolled water feeds is the same as pollution in controlled water feeds, and snow dissolution and rain water drainage from the streets suspended solids exceeded the maximum instantaneous concentration. Most sediments formed in rain runoff water. Surface water pH ranged from slightly acidic to slightly alkaline. To reduce surface water content and pollution levels , the proposed individual residential plots to install surface water infiltration systems
