RESEARCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FREIGHT TRANSPORT STRUCTURE AND INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURE IN JIANGSU

Abstract
This article researches the relationship between industrial structure and freight structure of Jiangsu Province by VAR model, then applies the cointegration test and Granger causality. The results show that there is a long-term relationship between the industrial structure and freight structure. Grainger causality analysis shows that the proportion of the first industry is the cause of change of highway and waterway freight volume proportion, Waterway Freight Turnover proportion is the cause of changes in the proportion of the tertiary industry.
