Resolutions of the Organization of the United Nations on Human rights and their juridical force

Abstract
The article analyzes the resolutions of the United Nations Human Rights Council as one of its main acts. The subject of the resolution is defined, and this may include various issues from which the Council decides, in particular: resolutions addressed to the General Assembly of the United Nations with a proposal to adopt a human rights document; resolutions establishing subsidiary organs of the Council or continuing their powers; resolutions on financial issues; resolutions governing the activities of subsidiary bodies; resolutions by which the Council directs the activities of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. The author notes that resolutions maybe a stage in international legal regulation, in particular, in the case of submission to the General Assembly of the United Nations of draft international agreements prepared by the Human Rights Council.
