RETROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE EVOLUTION OF VIEWS TO THE ESSENCE OF THE CONTENT OF THE CATEGORY OF «WAGE LABOR»

Abstract
The article is devoted to a brief review of evolutionary changes concerning the development and formation of wage labor. The main goal is to highlight the relationship between the transformations of the concept of wage labor with the change in productive relations in the process of economic management. The authors emphasize the essence of the social contradiction between objective requirements for professional indicators of hired workers and real manifestations of the existing level of qualities in the working population. A study was conducted to determine the role of wage labor in the production process. The article deals with the specific stages of the transformation of wage labor into various historical periods of society's development. The researchers state in this article the fact that the issues of the economic nature of wage labor, its place and role in the transformation processes of the domestic economy are not fully explored. It is emphasized on the importance of a new type of employee in the development of socio-economic relations and the formation of a market type of management.
