Role of physical education and sport in formation of spiritual component of personality

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the role of physical culture in a comprehensive person’s development in all the fullness of his essential powers. The de¿ ning role of physical culture activities in formation of a personality’s physical culture is shown from the positions of a culture’s general theory, and a content analysis of comprehensively developed personality. The necessity of the theoretical-methodological interpretation of the physical culture’s essence, connected with its spiritual and socio-cultural sense’s discovering and its realization in a practical activities is underlined. In the sphere of physical culture and spirituality of unity is realized in the ideal (internal) and clearly perceptible (outer) sides of physical activity. It is due to focus on development of a culture of thinking, imagination, feelings etc in the joint activities of motor actions in connection with the development, the essence of which is associated with the motor and always spiritual sides. Spirituality in any human activity should play a leading role.
