Role of the Institutional Environment in Crediting the Agrarian Sector of Economy

Abstract
The article is concerned with a topical subject of research on the role of the institutional environment trends in crediting the agrarian sector of economy. Shortage of liquidity, high interest rates on loans, high collateral requirements, lack of assets of the non-bank financial institutions pose obstacles to agricultural producers in Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of institutions in the institutional environment, mediating the activities of banks in the financing of agricultural enterprises. Directions of improving the institutional environment of economic entities crediting by banks in the agrarian sector of economy have been substantiated. A special role in this process is assigned to the institutional factors that are manifested through formal institutions: legal, economic, political, as well as informal institutions, such as: cultural values and socio-cultural values. The process of crediting the agrarian sector contributes to improving the functioning of financial-credit system in Ukraine.
