РОСІЙСЬКІ ВІЙСЬКОВІ ОЧАМИ ФРАНЦУЗІВ ПІД ЧАС РОСІЙСЬКО-ТУРЕЦЬКОЇ ВІЙНИ 1853–56 РР. У РОМАНІ Л. БУССЕНАРА «LE ZOUAVE DE MALAKOFF» (ЛІНГВОІМАГОЛОГІЧНИЙ АСПЕКТ)

Abstract
Стаття присвячена дослідженню засобів вербалізації лінгвоімагології. Зроблено короткий огляд наукових праць з проблематики дослідження, проаналізовані лінгвістичні особливості інтерпретації погляду французів на росіян під час Російсько-турецької війни (1853–1856 рр.) у романі Л. Буссенара «Le zouave de Malakoff». Виділено та розглянуто лінгвоімагему «російські військові очами французів» та засоби її вербалізації при оцінці росіян французькими військовими. The article is dedicated to the means of verbalization of linguistic imagology – the new direction of philology, proposed by L. Ivanova. The author analyzed the linguistic features of the perception’s interpretation of the Russians by the French soldiers during the Russo-Turkish War (1853–1856). The novel by L. Bussenar «Le Zouave de Malakoff», which describes the war, was specifically selected for the analysis. It should be noted that it has never been translated into Ukrainian and is a rare book even in France. Much attention is paid by the author of the novel to the description of the fighting of the Russians, namely, the attacks and retreat of individual troops of Nicholas’ I army. L. Bussenar assesses the events of the Crimean War of 1853–56, and the reader has the opportunity to consider them with the eyes of the Frenchman, as if he were involved in the campaign. The attention of the writer is attached to the historical figures: Prince O. Menshikov, E. Totleben, V. Kornilov and some others. This work fully covered the mid-nineteenth century’s events that took place on the Crimean peninsula where the Russian, Turkish, Sardinian, French and British armies combated. In these studies different discourses were analyzed. The volume of the article made it impossible to give the examples of verbalization of all the lingoimagothemes. So we dealt with the war activities associated with the Russians from the viewpoint of the French militaries. We can make the assumption that besides the positive assessment of the enemies, the French author of the XIX century also had ironic attitude to them and to the activities they conducted. Thus, it should be noted that in the lingvoimagological aspect, the French view of the Russians in the novel by L. Bussenar's «Le Zouave de Malakoff» is presented ambivalently. The author uses the characteristics with positive connotations, along with the characteristics containing negative attitudes in their semantics. The writer used alliteration, comparison, metaphor, hyperbole, occasional sentences, repetitions. In general, the description of the attacks and retreat of the armies is given in the present tense. With this stylistic acceptance, the author makes the reader feel as if he were the witness of the campaign, more fully and colorfully revealing the details of the battles, the nature of the parties involved.
