Rzadkie powikłania elektrowstrząsów w przebiegu schizofrenii lekoopornej

Abstract
Opisany przypadek dotyczy pacjenta cierpiącego z powodu schizofrenii paranoidalnej. W obrazie psychopatologicznym dominowały nasilone urojenia owładnięcia, wpływu oraz halucynacje słuchowe. Leczenie farmakologiczne lekami klasycznymi i atypowymi nie przyniosło poprawy. W związku z tym zdecydowano o zastosowaniu elektrowstrząsów. W czasie pierwszego zabiegu doszło do ciężkiego powikłania jakim był stan padaczkowy. Pacjenta zdyskwalifikowano z sejsmoterapii i zastosowano arypiprazol z walproinianem po którym uzyskano poprawę stanu zdrowia.
