School, family and community as a strategic scenario for educational management in rural contexts

Journal Title: Prohominum - Year 2021, Vol 3, Issue 1

Abstract

Educational institutions are immersed in a continuous change of their educational environment, in the community in which they are located and of the pedagogical tools at their disposal. For this reason, it is imperative to link school, family and community. To this end, this study aims to establish the relationship between school, family and community as a strategic scenario for educational management in rural contexts. Research conducted under the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach. The research design was field research, at a descriptive level. The population under study were 23 teachers of the Liceo Bolivariano Campaña Admirable, located in the municipality Acevedo, parish Ribas of Miranda State, attached to the Rural School Nucleus La Marinera. The sample was of the census type. The technique was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. Among the results, 52% of the teachers consulted answered that the representatives do not attend the institution when summoned, while 70% said that the community does not participate in institutional activities. In conclusion, it is established that the strengthening of school management by the school, family and community is a necessity and an aspiration of the educational process for many years. Therefore, we must seek the integration of school, family and community as a monolithic thread in the entire educational process, for the benefit ofthe students of the Liceo Bolivariano Campaña Admirable
