Scientometric analysis of journal of social work from 2001 to 2010

Abstract
This is a study of Scientometric analysis of a Journal of Social Work carried out from the year 2001 to 2010 A total number of 369 contributions published in 33 issues of 10 volumes from the year 20012010 have been consulted and selected for this study Out of 369 contributions 187 are articles and rests ie 182 are book reviews and others The details like volume wiseissue wise and yearwise distribution of contributions volumewise authorship pattern of published articles number of articles published institutionwise geographical distribution of published articles volumewise average citations per articles volumewise average number of pages in each contribution has been studied in this paper The recorded data has been analyzed tabulated and then interpreted appropriately Keywords Scientometric analysis Authorship pattern Distribution of Contributions in the journal of Social work Scientometric analysis of journal of social Work Citation analysis
