Segmentasi Dan Perbaikan Citra Untuk Proses Pengukuran Dimensi Beras

Abstract

The physical measurement of rice is still using manual measurement models, using a micrometer that still requires a considerable time and the result is still subjective due to use a micrometer. It depends also on the visual ability of each individual who does a measurement. It is necessary to measure faster way in measuring the dimensions of rice without reducing the level of accuracy by using image processing technology. The research objective is to get faster way than using a micrometer by utilizing image processing technology as a tool for measurement instruments that can display legible measurement values. The research was conducted using the rice was taken from BULOG Tegal. Measurement of the length and width of the rice by using caliper and compared with the results of the image using a digital microscope with the help of MATLAB coding in realtime from YCbCr to RGB color space is converted to grayscale. The results showed that rice dimensional measurements such as length and width of a rice can be performed in image processing and results of rice classification by length and width obtained rice has a size of 6.67-7.50 mm which is a long form, and that of the 100 rice obtained rice classification based on the dimensions of wide, rounded form with a size of <2 mm
