Sense of Revelation in Ibn Khaldun’s Thought

Abstract
Ibn Khaldun is one of the important scholars in Muslim world. In this study we have investigated the idea of his revelation. Revelation is confronted as one of the basic religious concepts. This concept is generally mentioned to communication with the metaphysical area as well as given different meanings in various religions. For this reason, it is used both epistemological and ontological context. About the complexion of this communication, there are many different views which amongst theologians and thinkers both member of different religions and same religions. These different views can be divided into two basic categories. One of those is view of revelation that God informs choice of particular persons set of truths in the form of propositions. The other, one God is involved in the events himself uncovering stage of human history and physical worlds, the people who witnessed it expressing their own words.
