Sexual identity study of the State University of Milagro's students

Abstract
"Gender" and "sex" are socially constructed categories whose meaning has evolved more sophisticatedly over time. The "sex" term has been define by OPS as "the sum of the biological characteristics that define the spectrum of humans as women and men”. However, in higher education institutions intermingl e cultural, social, psychological, philosophical, ideological, historical, family, economic and political factors. Thes e factors are relate to the learning that underlies the genesis and transformation of sexual behaviors and attitudes, which later are consolidated as social phenomena susceptible of being analyzed and even transform ed when it is necessary to minimize their negative effects in the affected individuals. Objective: To determine the attraction and sexual behavior of the State University of Milagros’s Students. Materials and Methods: a non-experimental, descriptive research was use. The studied population was the State University of Milagros’s students, and 30 individuals from this population were take it as a sample. As an instrument, the questionnai re was select. Results: 97% of the study sample has a well-defined sexual role, in terms of which sex it likes to be, as well as, they have knowledge about their sexual behavior. Conclusions: It is conclude that the perception of the university community facing their sexual identity has a large percentage 97% of university students
