Simulation technologies as innovative approach to professional training of border guards in the Republic of India

Abstract
The article defines the notion of simulation technology on the basis of analysis of studies of Indian researches. The classi-fication of simulation technologies being used in the process of professional training of border guards in the Republic of India individually and in groups has been described. It concerns constructive simulation technologies, real simulation technologies, and virtual simulation technologies. The notion of military simulation exercise has been defined, and the algorithm of its pro¬cedure has been studied. Besides, the author has analyzed primary and secondary reasons of choice of simulation technologies in the process of professional training of border guards in the Republic of India, and also advantages of usage of simulation technologies to form professional readiness of experts of border agencies have been outlined.
