SMART ТЕХНОЛОГІЇ В ОСВІТІ

Abstract
This paper intends to analyze the impact of new technologies and online communication in higher education. The demand for new ways of teaching caused by changes in the society of new generation called “Smart society” are discussed in this paper. The term “Smart – society” defines such societies as those ones, which will make a more intelligent use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to transform cities and improve the quality of our life. This paper discusses the definition of smart education and presents a conceptual framework. This paper presents the key characteristics of smart learning and the main challenges to be overcome when designing smart educational environments to support personalisation. In order to integrate smart learning environments into the learning system and educational contexts, innovative uses and new pedagogical approaches need to be implemented.
