Smukwa kosmata Scolia hirta Schrank, 1781 (Hymenoptera: Scoliidae) w południowo-zachodniej Polsce
Journal Title: Przyroda Sudetów - Year 2017, Vol 20, Issue
Abstract
Hairy flower wasp Scolia hirta Schrank, 1781 (Hymenoptera: Scoliidae) in south-western Poland New records of the hairy flower wasp Scolia hirta Schrank, 1781 (Hymenoptera: Scoliidae) from south-western Poland are presented. Remarks on its distribution, conservation status in Poland and probable reasons for the recently observed expansion of the species are also given. It is postulated that the recent expansion, besides the global warming, may be also favoured by the increase in populations of larval hosts.
