Social Support Program Projects (SODES) as an Access Route for Vocational Education

Abstract

Social Support Program Projects (SODES) carried out in the care of the Ministry of Development as an access route for vocational education are becoming increasingly widespread, and contribute in some way to the activities carried out within the General Directorate of Vocational. The purpose of this research which has been designed in accordance with the qualitative research approach is to create awareness about SODES projects and to reveal the contributions of these projects for vocational education and employment policies. The work group of the research consists of five different SODES projects including providing job and employment components which have been approved and supported by Project Coordination Center of Hakkâri Governorship. According to the results of the research; it has been concluded that every approved and supported project has an important place and contribution for meeting participant’s expectations with regard to both providing job and employment in the working life.
