SPECIFIC SOCIO-PEDAGOGICAL SOLUTIONS FOR DEVELOPING TOLERANCE QUALITIES AMONG STUDENTS AND YOUTH

Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 4

Abstract

In this article, the author examines global social relations among nations, with particular attention to the absence of social and national values among students and youth, and explores methodological developments offering socio-pedagogical solutions for promoting pluralism within this demographic. Specifically, the article analyzes the factors contributing to the growing individualization of modern individuals, and argues that preventing alienation is essential for preserving the humanity of humankind. This challenge requires global intellectual cooperation and open exchange of ideas, which in turn indicates the need for developing new mechanisms of political awareness and international collaboration. The article presents an overview of the current state of humanitarianism, solidarity, and the national value system among youth, highlighting their role within society. Accordingly, tolerance is presented not merely as a theoretical concept, but also as a cultural element that shapes identity and interpersonal behavior. Furthermore, culture is understood as a system of knowledge, values, and norms that govern the vital activities of members of society. The notion of tolerance, as it forms in the public consciousness, develops through a culture of tolerance, which is then manifested in practical behavior. In addressing these challenges, the article emphasizes the practical importance of the social pedagogue’s professional competence, the positive aspects of family cooperation, and the application of pedagogical technologies as effective solutions for fostering tolerance and national values in young people.
